Grace Richter is a PhD student studying American history with a focus on gender, race, and reproduction. She received a bachelor’s degree from Boston College, where she majored in history. Her honors undergraduate thesis explored the reproductive exploitation of enslaved women in the antebellum South. She entered the PhD program in 2020.
