GW Colloquium with Queen's University Belfast: "Divided Societies and Memory"
Join faculty members from the History Department (and other GW departments) for a two-day colloquium with Queen's University Belfast entitled, "Divided Societies and Memory." Scholars from a range of disciplines will contribute by illuminating connections between the U.S. and Ireland, the history of each, and the perpetuation, erasure, renewal, and evolution of divisions in our two nations and around the globe.
The colloquium will take place on Thursday, October 24 from 8:45 am to 3:00 pm and Friday, October 25 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am in Room 101 (National Churchill Library and Center) of the Gelman Library. The colloquium will continue on October 25 from 11:15 am to 2:00 pm in the Myers Room of the GW University Museum & Textile Museum. Click here to view the poster and here for more information.
