Ginger Miller
Ginger Miller (she/her) is a student pursuing her MA in the Department of History studying 20th c. United States with a focus on religion, conservative and right-wing politics, mass media, and pop culture. She is from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Musical Arts with a concentration in Clarinet Performance from the University of Oklahoma. Her undergraduate capstone, “Industry Politics and the 1980s Livestock Crisis,” explores the effect of agricultural policy in the 1970s on the farm crisis of the 1980s and subsequent increase in monopsony power and concentration in the United States cattle industry. She entered the MA program at George Washington University in the fall of 2024.
