Seth Rotramel

After earning his Ph.D. in history from Georgetown University, Seth Rotramel has specialized in the history of U.S. foreign relations at the Department of State’s Office of the Historian since 2011. Contributing to the congressionally mandated Foreign Relations of the United States series, he has produced compilations covering South Asia, China, and Central America. He is currently working on two volumes for the George W. Bush subseries on the 9/11 attacks and the Global War on Terror. He has also focused on the history of the Department of State during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Outside of the Office of the Historian, he teaches at the George Washington University, Howard University, and American University.
